The General ESL Program at BCC is designed to meet the needs of the beginner student through to the advanced student. Our goal is to set the highest standards for our students to ensure that they develop the ability to communicate in a foreign language with fluency and confidence.

Our curriculum is continually revised to ensure that our lesson content remains up-to-date, interesting and challenging. Our teachers who are all native English speakers, offer varying teaching techniques to expose the students to a broad and stimulating range of lesson content. Student numbers per class are kept to a minimum to allow a maximum interaction between student and teacher.

BCC offers 7 levels of class instruction and lesson topics focus on grammar, reading and writing, listening, conversation and pronunciation.

For students to proceed from one level to the next, they must maintain an 85% average on all exams, homework assignments, presentations and classroom projects.

Teachers schedule monthly interviews with each student to ensure one-to-one communications, evaluation and support. Students receive an official Progress Report at the end of every 4-week period.

Before I came to BCC I could not speak English. All the teachers here have helped me to study English and now I can speak English with everyone. Iam very happy
