Students' after class activities offer beach volleyball, roller-blading, hiking, rock climbing, camping and canoeing. Summer highlights include the famous Vancouver International Film Festival, Bard-on-the Beach and the Vancouver Jazz Festival. Popular pastimes in winter include skiing, snow-boarding and ice skating. Students often take extended trips to the world famous ski resort of Whistler (chosen location for the 2010 Winter Olympics) and the magnificent Rocky Mountains. |
